Next Steps & Contact Details
The safety and wellbeing of my clients is important to me. During the Covid-19 pandemic I am seeing clients online via Zoom or by telephone. I hope to return to face to face sessions in the near future. In the meantime please do get in touch if you would like to start having counselling with me online.
If you would like to contact me to ask questions or to arrange an initial consultation please get in touch by phone (07756 320 775) or email ([email protected]).
When you contact me I will endeavour to respond to you within 48 hours. If you are thinking about booking an initial consultation session, I will first offer you a 10 minute telephone consultation which gives you the opportunity to speak to me and to get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you. If you want to go ahead and arrange an initial consultation session we can agree a time and date.
What happens in the initial consultation session?
This session is a chance for us to get to know each other, for me to tell you a bit about how I work and for you to talk about what has brought you to counselling. You can then decide if you feel comfortable working with me and I can assess whether I am able to offer you the help that you need. At the end of the session if you decide that you would like to work with me then we can agree a regular weekly time for your sessions.
What happens in the counselling sessions?
Your counselling sessions are led by you, so you can talk about whatever feels important to you. You may want to talk about things that have happened recently or in the past. At times you may want to sit in silence and think things through, or simply sit with your feelings. Throughout the session I will listen to you without judgement, and I will help you to explore your experiences so that you can begin to gain insight, to look at things differently, and to consider your options.
